How did 2015 Rush go for girls enrolled in Team Blinn?

Some girls did not have a very good rush and were cut from nearly everything after the first round. I luckily had a better time and got invited back to most of the houses I wanted and ended up where I wanted. It just depends on your high school gpa, connections, and of course how you actually are during rush. Sororities are taking more Blinn team girls each year, this was only the 2nd year but it's getting better! I just know lots of girls who were cut by about 7-9 houses the first round.

This still baffles me. How can one of the top houses which also puts large emphasis on grades accept so many Blinn Team girls? Are they just ridiculously wealthy? Pretty? I don't get it.

Just FYI Blinn TEAM girls aren't stupid or slackers. They obviously still got into A&M. I was on Blinn TEAM for a year and the top ten percent at my high school all went to prestigious institutions. It's basically how A&M get people they want that aren't auto admits. It really doesn't determine how well a student will do in college or recruitment.

what about Blinn Junior College? Do chapters take transfers, not TAMU Blinn Team, from junior college?

Had a house tell me to go through rush again next year because they could not take me as a Blinn Team student. Was very upset that the "Blinn Team" title gave us a strike against us when we were never told that to being with. I did however complete rush and I am happy in the house that I am in now. Just something to think about. Being Blinn team made the experience a lot more painful than I had imagined and anticipated.

Blinn Teams are "exceptions" for most sororities. a few have to get permission from their nationals, so it's maybe 1-2 girls they will do that for.

Which is better? 1. BT women can rush and only a few get in, or 2. No BT can rush.

I'm a senior Aggie with all A's. My freshman year as BT we were not able to rush. I found other groups to join, became leader in them, and have never looked back. Just sayin'.

Pi phi, zeta and kappa took Blinn teamers. It's definitely a step down because no matter what anyone says, Blinn team is not quite the same as a&m admit. My high school differentiated between a&m and a&m Blinn team.
