Sig Ep = Guys are chill, less douchebag frat mentality than SAE.

Beta = Sigh... boring guys from good high schools I guess? I think I hear more about them talking about the "top tier" sororities they hang out with more than what they do themselves.

Both are great fraternities. Upper tier, maybe not top house but about as close as you can get without being one. Both are probably the best in terms of member quality in Greek life, but not as rich as Fiji and not as huge of parties as SAE. They're very different from each other though. Sigep is a lot more diverse personality wise and a lot bigger on the social scene/partying. Beta keeps to themselves more and is mainly private high schoolers. They're also a lot more country. (Sigep has a lot of country guys too but Beta actively tries to act country as a group). It's generally said that Sigep is rising and Beta is going downhill, but I personally don't think Beta's gone down much they're just not keeping pace with other rising frats

Both are good dudes.

Like some one said Beta is more country than SigEp.

Nationally SigEp is bigger and probably a better fraternity than Beta.

Locally both are pretty good right behind SAE, KA, Fiji

Every girl "knows" a sig ep guy,

my PC really likes Betas and the Sig Eps we know are fun :) all really nice guys and not total dbags like you usually expect from a guys in fraternities. they are held to high standards and treat girls with respect which speaks highly of their character. but they still know how to have a good time

Honestly, anyone who says anything bad about either Sigep or Beta is a mid tier who wishes they weren't. They easily have the best guys at A&M, and are quickly outcompeting anyone but the top two (KA and Fiji)
