expansion update?

Fall semester is almost gone. Does anyone know what the progress is on expansion? Our Panhel delegate said that the original plan was to invite a sorority to colonize in the Spring so that they would have at least a small group of girls to do formal in the Fall. Wouldn't the new sorority need to be announced before Spring rush started?

I was wondering the status...

I do know Nationals to do move that fast to host a spring rush, when fall is Rush is the University tradition. They want to start big with a full chapter of members at or very near total. They will pledge all grade levels at once and will want at least 200+ new members. Otherwise they will not be able to compete the next year or purchase property and build a house.

It's a ton of planning, dollars, alumnae commitment, etc.

The selection process will be made this spring and their colony recruitment will actually be in Fall 2016 after formal recruitment. This is the way it is usually done.
