When is SAE next rush?

That's what you'd think but actually plenty of big fraternities here, especially SAE, will give FULL blind kids bids if they think they will make it to A&M- Which many do not.

Thats the way it should be, but if the guys are cool, have money for dues, and seem smart enough to actually get into A&M why not give them a bid? Most fraternities will take 2-3 blinn guys that they really like and can show they will get into A&M, and they get dropped if they never get into the university.

You guys do realize the biggest greek school in Texas (UT) has top tier chapters (FIJI,Sig Ep, Kappa Sig) that have 20 guys from ACC in their pledge class of 60-70. And most of those guys never get into UT, just ride out ACC and party with their parents money.

"That's the way it should be"? What, so because TU does it we should too? Why should any fraternity that cares about its brotherhood and itself as a chapter violate the rules of their nationals and the university to give bids to guys that will never actually become real brothers? Just for money? That doesn't sound right to me. And it sounds like the kind of stuff you're talking about with UT fraternities isn't much different from what happens here. Cause I know for a fact (not going to name names, everyone already knows who) that some chapters aren't just taking the 2-3 blinn guys that have potential to get in

Giving bids to Blinn kids is just cheating the system to get extra money. I can see why some people do it though. Notice that it's the fraternities that are known for bidding Blinn kids that always seem to have the most social funding
