cob
by: Maybe PNMHi y'all! Are there sorority houses who are still doing COB? I never went through formal rush last month, but I'd love to join a sorority, and the "ranking" doesn't matter at all to me!
#3by: So
Joining the sororities that aren't really publicly recruiting on campus, you have to have connections with the girls in those chapters to even receive a bid. And a lot of the times, sadly, they don't allow girls who join through continuous/informal recruitment to post anything about it on social media, cause of the stigma that's attached to it.
#4by: Colony?
Any news of a new sorority colonizing sometime next semester or next Fall? I'm a Sophmore who has never gone through formal recruitment (that kind of stress and drama is not really for me) and I wouldn't mind joining a colony (I know it's not a walk in the park by any means).

This is not true. Every sorority recruits year round. It's just that ADPi is more public with it than the other sororities. Panhellenic has set chapter total to the median total of all the chapters on the row, so half the sororities are under chapter total and half are above chapter total. Therefore, each sorority, especially the ones who are under chapter total are constantly recruiting to retain and keep their numbers up, since there are graduating members each semester. Every sorority takes in new members through continuous/informal recruitment, it's just different how it is done per sorority.
