Yes, it is possible to be cut by all houses. All of our houses are selective even if you've heard that some don't cut anyone. Another thing is to have a perfect round 1 and 2 (typically when the PNM is invited back to all of her top picks, leaving only very strong recruiting houses on her skit schedule) and then to have no invites to pref- these women weren't cut by all houses but do end up released from recruitment.

This is so sad. Rush is hard anyway because in essence, the girls are opening themselves up to be judged by all the women in these sororities. Sowme girls are more secure than others, but all of them suffer varying degrees of self esteem issues during rush. To be cut from all houses is a terrible thing and I feel so sad for her. I can't even imagine how she must be feeling.

that girls shouldn't cut all the "lower tiers" at first. They should be realistic and rank 1 or 2 of the "higher tier" / big cut chapters low early on.

DDD, KKG, XO, Zeta, all of these chapters cut BIG by wednesday. By ranking one or two of those low after day 1, you're giving yourself a better shot at a full list by Friday.

I know some people here will disagree, but if you don't love them, why are you keeping them, anyway?

OP: Why don't you tell us some details about yourself? Major, what city you live in, what dorms, etc.
I would L-O-V-E for my house to contribute to you having the same experience you found so hilarious with the girl in your group.
There are always too many girls for the quota numbers, so if we can identify someone as a mean girl ahead of time, that saves us trouble...

What an awful way to start a college experience. Maybe she can get a snap bid. Nobody wants that to happen to anyone. And it's true about prev bids. I didn't get cut at all last year and had full parties. I stressed and stressed about my order for pref and the joke was on me. I got just 2 invites, not 3. I got the house that was my leader from day 2 on so it worked out but I sort of had a wake up call. Good luck to every PNM heading into pref. Remember, there are no bad choices at A&M.
