byx
by: 2019I know BYX isn't technically greek but I'm debating on rushing them as an alternative to another fraternity because my faith is very important to me. Just curious as to what their reputation is on campus? Thanks.

Here's the deal: BYX does not have the BEST reputation in the eyes of many people all across campus. Honestly, most greeks look down on them bc they're are a bit too much of a frat-wanna be. There are a lot of try-hards in BYX. Sure, it is probably a great organization with a lot of solid dudes, but don't discount the actual greek fraternities here. I too care a lot about my faith... and honestly Greek life at A&M is not out to rob me of that. I think you will find that, while there are definitely a lot of crazies in every single fraternity, there are also plenty of people who share in your faith. Remember, this is A&M... As it is, there are already a lot of Christians here, and people are typically very open about their faith no matter what organization they're in.
