camp connections

A friend was telling me that camp connections are huge at some schools...like in Austin if you didn't go to Waldemar, Mystic, or Longhorn there is almost no way you get a bid to a top sorority. Is that the case here?

There are a lot of camp girls at A&M, but it's nowhere like UT where you don't go PKT without being a camp girl (and where your camp dictates your exact house like UT Theta & CLH).

not as many campers go to a&m, but the camp girls know each other, going summer after summer, and friends recruit friends. Most campers at Mystic, Waldemar, Camp Longhorn will select KKG, KAT, PBP, lots of counselors from those sororities too. Ozark has lots of XO KKG KAT counselors. Pine Cove has lots of XO counselors.

has counselors from a variety of houses if they are Aggies. UT tends to trend one way there, but Aggies are from different houses (top and "not top").

I went to Pine Cove since I was 9 and I had several XO counsellors and KKG (from A&M and Arkansas) all were super sweet 💕🌲

I'd like to add I've noticed a lot of Theta and KD camp counselors too

If you went to Camp Longhorn, you will get dropped by every sorority and by the school. Thanks and Gig 'Em #WHOOP #SAWEMOFF
