let's be real

This may not may not help anyone but it would've helped me when I went through recruitment last year.

This is going to sound stuck up but I was a "high school rockstar" as I like to call it. Perfect grades, homecoming court, head cheerleader, student of the year, went on mission trip and was heavily involved in my youth group. I went into recruitment with an open mind but throughout that week I became close minded and only wanted the house where I already knew 2 girls in chapter. Skit night I was sure I was going to end up at that house on bid day. I got my party list on pref and only had one house left and it wasn't the one I so desperately wanted. I talked with my rho gam, more because I was shocked not upset (the house I had left had been my second favorite all week). I ended up pledging at my 2nd favorite house and...

IT COULD NOT HAVE WORKED OUT BETTER. I met women who empower me each and every day and who I want to be a better friend and sister for. I have grown exponentially in this last year and it's because of my sisters. Now I couldn't imagine myself anywhere else, my chapter is home.
PNMs I beg you to give every house a chance because it could be exactly what you needed but never knew you even wanted. Trust in Gods plan above all else. Texas A&M is truly the best university in the world and being Greek is the greatest decision you'll ever make. See y'all soon :)
