When I went through formal recruitment, a girl at zeta somehow got on the topic of animals and started making animal noises. Then she asked me to join her. I said no thanks and cut them that day. I ended up joining a top house and my number one house.

im an active in another sorority, and i just want to let you know that WE ARE PEOPLE TOO. last year i was rushing a girl who clearly didnt want to be at my house and was giving me nothing to use to have a conversation with, just yes/ no answers. so, instead of continuing a one sided conversation about our sisterhood, i asked if she had any pets and we talked about her dogs for 20 minutes then she went on her way and i never saw her again. keep in mind the girls rushing you have probably had the same convo about their philanthropy 10 times already that day. if you suck at talking about philanthropy, dont blame her for talking about random stuff.
