this is great advice - recipe for happiness

It was on a page for guys so I had to edit it a bit, but I thought it was good advice and should be shared.

Go into recruitment with the attitude that you want to be greek and will be happy in whichever house you end up in. Truly tiers don't matter.

Decide in advance that whichever house you get on bid day, you'll go into it with your whole heart. Get involved immediately. Meet people and really get to know them. Invite girls in your class to study with you or go for coffee. Run for an office in your new member class. Hang out at the house with the older girls. DON"T WAIT TO FALL IN LOVE WITH THEM. Deliberately decide to fall in love on bid day. Every house, regardless of the rank you see on greekrank is a great house and full of girls who CAN be you life long friends. YOU have the decision of whether you want that. You can still be friends with girls from other houses, but COMMIT to your house on bid day and DON"T LOOK BACK.

That's the best recipe for happiness.
