Not much difference in the gpas really. Interesting the four that did spring recruitment had lowest gpas.

If I wait for spring recruitment, are KD, ADPi, DZ, Gamma Phi my only choices? I like the idea of waiting till 2nd semester but would like to meet all the sororities.

There is no formal, promoted spring rush. Select houses who are below a Panhellenic-determined number of members are allowed to COB (continuous rush) throughout the year to get their chapter up to that number. Some years, that may be 1 house. Other years, it may be a few houses.

You will not know this informal rush is happening or which chapters are doing it unless you know someone in those houses. It is usually a way to bid a select few highly qualified girls who are already really good friends with chapter members. These are not advertised, public events like fall formal rush.

If you meet a few girls in "x" chapter next year and become an unofficial "x" due to your close friendship AND "x" is Eligible for COB, it might work out perfectly for you. If you want to meet all the chapters and/or feel you could never commit to one via COB without trying them all out, then you will want to go through formal fall rush your sophomore year. Be sure to make very high grades (3.2ish is sorority average so you need 3.5+ to be a strong pnm), get involved on campus, get your recs lined up, and meet as many sorority members as you can your first year.

You can get an idea of academic ranking history from these reports, just don't know why more aren't posted on Greek Life website. Top six sorority rankings seem fairly consistent

ALL sororities have a higher GPA than the average for A&M GPA.
Being in a sorority helps your grades, just saying.

Seems to be barely any difference between highest and lowest GPA.....all are very good GPA's and most students would love to have any of them.
