my family is pushing me to go to tech because apparently sorority life is better. Should I listen?

Choosing your school based on greek life rather than education is ridiculous. A degree from A&M is on an entirely different level than a degree from Tech and that should be the deciding factor. That being said, been to both schools, I'd say their greek life is about even

This is false on greek life. Tech is far ahead in terms of greek life and A&M is much smaller.

A&M has a smaller greek life but our parties/ social life is just as big, we actually have houses where they don't, and the quality of the people involved in greek life here is much much better.

You can be in the 3rd Qtr of your class and get into Tech. The sororities are not as competitive. No houses, just lodge.

Kids with very avg grades go to tech.

Go for the better school- obviously A&M!!! Greek life is getting bigger every year at A&M and there's always something going on for fun if you want. A&M students probably study a lot more than Tech, which is a good thing.

Greek life at tech is failing anyways. 4 chapters have been suspended / removed in the last 2 years

Pi phi zeta and try delta all have been in trouble at tech last year 2 of them for hazing their pledges!!!!!!! Really tech???? Alpha phi has a chapter average of 2.8!!!! OMG! It looks like the only good sororities their are theta chi o kd axo and kappa

Are y'all seriously responding to a troll? By the time OP posted it would have been WAY too late to decide between the two schools. And if she's still in HS then she should wait until she actually has an acceptance packet in hand first before posting.
