Pretty much universally acknowledged as the most attractive house. They have an air of confidence around them that some see as stand-off ish. 1st place in Songfest and Stompfest. Historically they've been known as dumb blondes (and grade summaries have them in the middle to lower end of the spectrum) but my freshman year roommate was a Zeta and she's a chemical engineering major.
As for recruitment, I think there are significantly less Zeta legacies than others in the top tiers, so they get to fill their pledge class with who they actually want to take. They don't have the history like some of the other houses have so they're seen as "upstarts" by some but they take the best girls from the suburbs and a few wealthy legacy types from the city too.

They have preselected who they would like to recruit prior to rush.'So the first party when you go into their house you will see one group go one way and another the other way. This means you are in or out. I could tell and after rush found out I was obviously on the "cut list" before actually meeting me. Found a home with another house who actually plays fair and is polite to all girls.

funny thing is every good house has pre-selected areas they make the good PNMs walk to, not just zeta

ok. i LOVE my house, but i am in what is (wrongly) considered a "lower tier" house.... and we have two rooms too! MOST HOUSES DO. if a house wants you theyre going to want you to be physically in that house as long as possible, so you will be in the room that is the last to exit. sorry, get over it. doesnt mean zeta is mean.

It's not that zeta doesn't have legacies...they just don't put much emphasis on them. Lots of zeta legacies get cut and that's how they can take the people they really want
