I know we're in silence but do actives check social media? Right now I have my accounts set to private but I don't have anything bad on them and I don't mind actives following me to see the activities that I've been doing. If I like or follow the sorority's social media accounts will actives follow me back?

I don't think it matters whether or not your account is private but be very careful. Actives most likely won't follow you back but they might! Personally I think it's strange when a tamu 19 girl follows me, just creep instead

We do check social media, but we don't follow anyone. That's just weird. We've found some girls that look good on paper can sometimes have very questionable instagram pics. Feel free to look at the sorority FB and Instagram pages. Follow them if you want; just don't follow any actives.

What if we WANT recruitment teams to look at our instagram accounts? I'm not trying to toot my own horn here, but what if we want to prove that yes we hang out with friends, we have hobbies we're passionate about, we know how to look nice and presentable, etc.? Obviously during recruitment we should be humble, but this is a competition of sorts.

We're more likely to look at your Facebook because it's just easier to find people than on Twitter on Instagram.
