by: Help pretty please:)I was born in Dallas and lived there until I was 10, but then moved to a neighboring southern state so I don't know any of the girls that currently go to A&M. I have a good GPA and good ACT/SAT scores. What are my chances of getting into a top sorority?

One of the reasons I hate this site is that it makes people think that if they are not in a top house they won't enjoy being in a sorority. That is not true at all, you will get out of your experience what you put into it, no matter what house you join. There are great girls in every house and any PNM would be lucky to call them their sisters

Be extra friendly/cute/bubbly at Fish Camp- lots of the counselors are in sororities and some great girls always get identified for the first time at Fish Camp if they don't have connections.
Do any of your rec writers have connections to A&M? Whether it's a collegian or alumna, you need people pulling for you at top houses!
Are you a legacy to any A&M houses? (Don't say which on here). Your legacy's local group in your city can help get you known to the A&M chapter.
And seriously, if you want to be Greek, realize you need to be open to EVERY house. Don't be to good for a mid or lower house as that house may be your only chance to be Greek at A&M. It's better to be Greek than not, and the real life experience of being in a so-called bottom sorority does not resemble what this site has you thinking. Be strategic when you rank each night during Rush and alway keep at least 1 mid/bottom on your list so you're more likely to keep getting invites each day.
