im a rushee going though and i just don't understand why this sorority gets so much hate - it seems like they get more than others....can someone explain this to me?

Simple: They used to be a really weak sorority at A&M, but they have worked hard for the last several years and have gotten a lot better. Girls in some other houses are concerned GPhi might start being more of a threat in recruitment and with A&M fraternities unless they put out a lot of negative PR. They are a group of nice girls, BTW.

really are some nice gorgeous groups of girls in this sorority! They are on the rise and tend to get a lot of hate for reasons stated below. The girls who are bashing G-Phi on this website though are not girls who are looked up to in other sororities so beware. and go into recruitment with an opened mind!

I don't think anyone who is honest would disagree that right now Tri Delt is top.

My opinion after that (and I am being honest) is:

Kappa, Pi Phi,
Chi O or Theta,

Zeta, Dg

The first six listed are the top six all over Texas (big six) and are all very strong nationally....truth....like it or not. The first five of those vary as to who is the best depending on which school in Texas. DG is excellent nationally just not as strong as rest in Texas. I do not know how rest are nationally. Any group is worth joining and these orders should not really matter to you unless you are having to decide between a few sororities. If you LIKE another sorority better, by all means join it! It is a big campus and having a group of sisters is wonderful! Truthfully, all of us would be happy in several different chapters so try not to get too wrapped up in all of this mess. Go Greek! You won't regret pledging any chapter!

If you are a PNM you need to realize that this website is nothing but a hate filled or self ranking website and nothing listed on this is accurate or anything at all like real greek life is like. There are amazing and beautiful and diverse women in every one of the 12 houses and honestly I do not know why it seems like we hate each other on this website. We all support each other and we all go to each others philanthropies and not because we have to but because we love and support all the lovely A&M greek ladies. You would be surprised also that the frat organizations also mix with all of the houses and not just the so called elite. Please follow your heart and let Recruitment work for you. Do not deny a bid from any house as you will miss out of the girls who were meant to be your sisters and you will miss out on the greatest experience of your life.
