I'm on CPC council, and I can tell you for a fact Chi O did not spring rush. They have some of the highest return rates during fall recruitment. New member, I'm not sure who you are, but speaking on behalf of CPC I'd appreciate if you represented A&M Greek life in a better light.

I just got initiated and I do not think I should have to hide it. Why is this considered a bad thing? Should I be embarrassed to be a spring recruit? I think its a great house but all these secrets are stupid.

Someone wishes they weren't cut from Chi O in the fall....they don't take spring recruits. Nice try.

props to XO for not self ranking because clearly when a top house is this far down, these "rankings" can't be taken seriously.

I don't think anyone who is honest would disagree that right now Tri Delt is top.

My opinion after that (and I am being honest) is:

Kappa, Pi Phi,
Chi O or Theta,

Zeta, Dg

The first six listed are the top six all over Texas (big six) and are all very strong nationally....truth....like it or not. The first five of those vary as to who is the best depending on which school in Texas. DG is excellent nationally just not as strong as rest in Texas. I do not know how rest are nationally. Any group is worth joining and these orders should not really matter to you unless you are having to decide between a few sororities. If you LIKE another sorority better, by all means join it! It is a big campus and having a group of sisters is wonderful! Truthfully, all of us would be happy in several different chapters so try not to get too wrapped up in all of this mess. Go Greek! You won't regret pledging any chapter!

I feel like my house is the best fit for me. My freshman year my roomies were all in different houses DG, DZ, and Tri Delt. Because of that I got a view into each of the houses at A&M. What I figured out is there really is not much difference in all of them. I know a lot of people in each of these 4 houses and I will be friends with them forever. Being that I lived with so many girls in different houses I have some true advice. After you join your chapter realize that as in life there will be girls you can trust and that you would want to associate with and there are girls you wouldn't. Each of my roomies last year found this out as did I. Just because you are my sister does not mean I am like you. So to the girls in my house that do things that I do not like yes you are my sister but I choose my roomies from other chapters over you and will not associate with you.

Chi O really is a wonderful house!!! Don't let these comments make you feel any different...obviously they don't get on and self-rank! Chi O is a very strong chapter at A&M, and a very desired house during recruitment. Anyone who becomes a Chi O is a lucky girl to have a sisterhood like this!
