question about fraternities
by: DougIt seems everyone agrees that fraternities like Fiji and Beta place a strong emphasis on what high school you attended. Do fraternities such as KA and SAE also place a high priority on where someone attended high school? Also, are there minorities in KA, Fiji, or SAE?

KA in general also has a lot of guys from HP, Memorial, West U, and Westlake, but the difference between them and Fiji is that KA also puts emphasis on being social and attractive. You might find a few guys from KA who are from one of the nicer suburbs as long as they're charming and smart.
SAE is kind of a mixed bag. I know guys from big city private schools who prefer SAE for its party hard style who aren't into acting like pretentious country club guys. I also know guys from small towns who are attractive and social. If you're a cool guy, you'll be fine.
As far as minorities go, I don't think I've seen any in KA or Fiji, maybe a pinch at SAE. I know for sure that Sigma chi has Mexicans though.
