fall rush

I'm a junior/senior thinking to rush. I'm a recent transfer student. I have a couple of friends in some sororities, do I have a good chance of getting a bid?

Seniors are "free" and not counted in quota, so it has no effect but rarely do they ever rush. You'll be in a pledge class with mostly freshmen and some sophs. Kind of awk. But with that, most are released anyways.
