Don't choose a house to join based on their "tier". Many people do, and end up dropping out and choosing a different house the next year/semester. You don't hear a lot about it but it happens.
The most important thing is finding people who you could honestly see yourself hanging out with every weekend for the next four years, and eventually becoming your roommates and best friends.
And honestly, who gives a rat's ass if other people consider your house a top house? There is a reason every person on this website ranks their house higher than other people would: because of their love for it and their brothers/sisters. That's what you should be searching for, a house that people clearly love being a part of.
That being said, we know you're curious and will read this anyway. (In no particular order within tiers)
Fraternities:
KA, SAE, FIJI, SigEp
Beta, Delt,
Sigma Chi, Pike
Everyone else
Sororities:
ZTA, DDD, XO, KKG
DG, Pi Phi,
Theta, AXO
KD, GPB, DZ, ADPi

Sigma chi is not above Delt simply because of the quality of their guys. And Beta doesn't even have a house or any relevant parties so putting them above Sigep is pretty ridiculous

alright Beta, or we can not self rank and group sigma chi with delt and beta and leave it at that. Delt is normally better than sigma chi and beta but with probation and getting in trouble have slipped down a little. Sigma chi has good parties but the quality of their guys is terrible. Beta has better quality of guys than the other two, but have no huge parties they throw or any good social events.

Either Beta needs to be moved up with the top tiers or Delt needs to be moved down with Sigma Chi because they're not equal. And if Pike is going to be listed with Sigma Chi, Sigma Nu should be as well. Sororities are pretty accurate. Though I would say there's a big enough gap between KD/GammaPhi and DZ/ADPi that maybe they should be listed separate

XO needs to move down one, don't get me wrong they are a good group just not considered top. But if you look though most of the posts on here there is only one sorority that doesn't get alot of flack for being put in the top and that is DDD. KKG ZETA XO DG have all been put in the top teir many times, whether they self ranked or another felt they belonged there and were bashed by some for being put there. So please remember it is just someone's opinion, so please don't bash a whole group by nasty comments. Just say move one up or down if you need to make your opinion known.
