They are some places, but certainly not all. That's the problem with generalizations. My best friend is at one of the UC schools and I asked her about those houses. She said neither is good there. It's not like I really care, I just want y'all to realize that the idea of "national reputation" is pretty much of a myth. Every campus is different.

You are incorrect. Sororities can vary by chapter, but overall a select half dozen have a strong national reputation. They have chapters at the top public and private schools in every state and have strong alumnae groups all over the US. Not all panhellenic groups can say that. Also many panhellenic groups can't get on campus at alot of schools that have strong greek systems.

when Harvard finally opened the campus to sororities, the university only chose three - DG, Kappa, & Theta.

How do you feel after you say negative things about a sorority? Do you feel like you contributed someone positive to your sorority, greek life, or even society? Is it necessary?
