#782by: @ just FYI:
Do you think we are unintelligent? We can read numbers and ranks them from lowest to highest. We did get into a&m which means we have some common sense and smarts. Just the number of rankings doesn't mean much it's when you combine it with the percentages that it shows self ranking. For example adpi has the most rankings and yet is one of the lowest, while zeta has second most rankings and is second highest meaning more self supposedly.
#783by: re "just fyi"
you said chi o self ranks the least but when i got on their page they had 11 positive ranks and 13 negative ones. Then i went to the middle of your ignorant list and looked ad a chi os page and saw they had 4 positive ones and 21 negative ones. have oyu ever thought some girls get threatened by other chapters but that those chapters dont even care mabout their ranks or status because they are confident enough to be themselves and not self rank all the time of rank others down? get off of here and get a life! thanks
#785by: CHI O WHAT???
Sorry Chi O but the only people who go in wanting you are your legacies. Yes, there are A LOT of Chi O legacies but that probably shows how strong of a chapter Chi O used to be. That no longer is the case. The most popular are definitely Kappa and Tri Delt, beyond that it's pretty even until you get to gamma phi and adpi. But no, Chi O is not above most of the others.
#787by: Agree
I agree with below and i saw this post on the smu and ut site and agreed with what they were saying so u thought I'd share it with y'all since it is recruitment season
This is not a good time to put down any sorority. There is a place for every girl and we do them a disservice when we rank houses and talk about the "lower tier." This encourages girls who are ashamed that they didn't get invited back to "top tier" houses to drop out of rush for fear of being ostracized as a pledge. All our houses are good. Try to promote greek panhellenism during recruitment. Encourage every PNM to complete recruitment and find a greek home.
#788by: GREEK LIFE <3
The names of "top tier" that and "low tier" this, is really just a joke. Every girl is happy in every sorority, and you'll regret dropping because you believed you got a bid from a sorority that wasn't a "top house." Because in the end, every house is stellar.
#789by: Reality
This is not some fantasy land where every house is created equal. Truth is that there will always be a tier system. Trying to claim it doens't exist is just a lie. Every house has its good and bad points. Those pnms who are secure in their choices and who truly want a sorority experience will not be upset about getting a bid from any house. Those who worry about tier status are probably the ones who are hoping to reinvent themselves in college, sort of like an episode of Made - not gonna happen.
