much are dues for each sorority per semester? i would like a list of some sort. people are going to tell me not to base my choices off fees, but i am going to be paying for my dues myself, so it is going to play a big factor in where i end up pledging.

This is according to the Panhellenic Recruitment 2009 packet that was provided before recruitment. These are new member dues, not in house or out of house dues.

honestly if you are going to go through rush basing decisions off which sorority costs the least/most then don't rush. you will not be happy where you end up. choose based on the people you meet, that's the only way you will be happy!

to be honest no one cares about grades/philanthropy. it's all about reputation around campus.

and you must be a chi-o, because seriously no one (ESPECIALLY greeks) thinks Chi-O is the top sorority. sure they are top tier, but it is generally agreed their reputation of being FIJI's groupies or just unsocial hurts them way too much. you want to talk about reputation amongst greeks? try going to some one else's philanthropy, then song fest won't suck so damn much.

ok on the greek life website it said membership dues were $400-800 per semester! How do those costs work into the numbers "Dues" wrote! Are those numbers initial and these (400-800) are after?

Whoever wrote that is dumb as a box of rocks. Everyone knows Delta Tau Delta has some of the finest girls around. Show some love for the lovely ladies of Da-Tee-Da!
