sorority comments

My daughter is going through rush and I am somewhat confused. I have seen girls from a supposedly top ranked sorority and they were fairly cute, but not very friendly. I saw girls from another group that is not rated as well. They were just as cute, but friendlier. It seems money counts on greekrank, but what about on campus? I would think nongreeks might see these groups differently.

I am aware that my daughter is the one going through rush, but I am the one paying for it, if she ends up joining a sorority. I found this site just by putting a search for sororities at Texas A and M. This site came up. I did not expect some of the mean comments. I just want my daughter to be with a group of girls who will have a positive impact on her life, not a negative one.

unfortunately this site comes up in search engines but it is a poor portrayal of greek life. The best advice to give your daughter is to keep an open mind during recruitment and to not get her heart set on just one group. All of the groups are strong and she could have a positive experience in any of them. If you ask 10 different people, you'll get 10 different rankings so it's more important for your daughter to follow her heart.
