sorority comments

this site is taking... I just posted my complaint to GRank also. I hope they change things soon. It is really sad that girls feel the need to be so harsh online when in real life I know every sorority hangs out with all the others. I personally have friends in all 12 houses and consider myself lucky to be an aggie greek. I also hate all the self ranking. It is ok to love your house but by saying you are better than others is not ok. All 12 houses at A&M are great houses and any PNM will be lucky to end up at any of them.

the girls posting on this site would do it classy and not post all the negative things then none of this would be necessary. I have looked at other schools and it is so embarrassing that A&M is way more obsessed with this than any other school in the country. Really? does anyone think this is cool at all?

at 673 posts you are 200 posts higher than any other house at A&M... AXO, Gamma, DZ, and Zeta are in the 400's, Tri Delt, Pi Phi, Kappa, Theta, ADPI and XO in the 300's and sweet little KD in the lower 200's... this is really crazy and pathetic. But really DG get a life that is a little too excessive.

I'm not even in a house but I've contacted GRank. :) I hope you girls get this fixed! I don't know if this is against Greek rules or whatever, but what if you guys started a facebook page/group that was designed to change this? Girls would add themselves to the fb page and it'd sort of be like a protest? Getting everyone to unite is a super important step and why not utilize facebook for that purpose? It'd get everyone involved in changing, not just the girls who come on here.

There is no "bad" house. There are only different houses. It's like colors. I like orange but my best friend likes green. Both are good. :)

you are right there are no "bad" houses and it is unfortunate that this website exists to make PNM's think that there are. If you go through recruitment with an open mind then the process will work. You will find a home with girls like you and you will forge friendships that will last your whole life. If you get caught up with who is the best house and go in with a closed mind you will miss out on the most amazing experience of your life. I was one of those girls that did not get the house i thought I wanted and on Bid day i cried and cried but my mom was there and encouraged me to go to the house and not to reject my bid till after I spent time with the girls. Well I am glad i listened to my mom and she was so right. Within the first 2 hours I fell in love with my sisters and even the girl I thought was a little awkward during recruitment ended up being a really great fun girl that just happened to be too shy to let that show through at recruitment. You will love your sisters!!!!
