sorority comments

No argument here, DG. However, if you look at top schools all over, there are more Kappas, Pi Phis, and Thetas than any others. (Thus, elite three) Chi O, Tri Delta, and DG are next. Personally, I would consider those six the "top" sororities.

This year was the hardest for us in the top 6. There were more quality girls than usual and we could have made quota 3 times over with girls we wanted. I am happy they decided to accept bids at other sororities here at A&M as it has raised our greek system way above what it has been in the past. There were some bottem tier and lower middle tier houses that got some really great girls that my house personally really wanted. I know for a fact that several girls we were sad were not on our list on bid day ended up at one of those. Not sure how that happened since one of these girls in particular we really wanted and thought we had.Because of this I think the ranking of the past is kinda out the door and we will see what happens at the end of the yr. and with next years recruitment.

This is the most arrogant thing I have ever heard! What makes you think you are better than any other group of girls...this is what is wrong with Greeks in general...you are absolutely no "better" than anyone else. Perhaps the "quality girls" that didn't pref your organization got a whiff of your incredible arrogance and didn't like the smell...

I agree. Totally ..Jokes on them...they are not better than anyone!(top 6) sororities ranking are subjective.

so if you switch Texas's TriDelt and Theta ranking, their entire rankings (which are pretty known and pretty solid) are SO close to what ours are this year. DG/ZTA will probably have a fit about this but its true. Our greek life is getting better and it shows nationally since the quality of our chapters here are starting to mirror quality nationally. They're all great at a&m, just some are more desired than others!

Ladies; let's please stop the negative comments. Greek life is HUGE in the SEC. Being apart of the SEC, Greek life is about to BLOW UP. we should be encouraging others to join and see how wonderful it is to be a Greek not picking on other chapters. Texas A&M should be removed from Greek Rank all together.

What is arrogant about what I said earlier??? It is the truth. I really doubt the girl I am talking about chose DZ over Pi Phi. Get real here. I am not saying there is anything wrong with DZ and they did get some great girls in the pc'11 but unless something went really wrong at recruitment they would not choose to be a DZ over a Pi PHi. I am saying again I love DZ and have some close friends there but just on reputation alone they wish they were here instead I am sure. I am not saying anything is wrong with any sorority at A&M I am just saying that Pi Phi is just better at the moment.
