sorority comments

I agree that they are not as cute or as fun as many chapters. However, because PKT is such a big deal at TU and other Texas schools, they get a lot of good girls from top schools. These girls are usually looking beyond the next four years. I think they get a lot of girls who don't make it into other top four(especially Chi O....thus the good pledge class this year.) PKT just rules in Texas and since any girl from a "top" school or Greek family knows that, it really helps all three at ATM. Tri Delta and Chi O are next in Texas and it helps them too. That is why it is so hard for top five to really change here. Any girl in the know pledges one of those if she can. Brutal but true.

You are SO right. When I pledged my sorority (which is one of the PKT) my mothers friends were calling me saying I was "set for life" and that it is "THE best sorority" even though they weren't in it. Even my great grandmother said "If I had rushed in college I would have been an X". Obviously that is not specifically why I pledged my sorority but it is really nice to know how great it is here at A&M and nationally because good network connections can get you really far in life. PKT is very elite nationally and so is Chi Omega.

Yes, Theta is. We are not talking who has the most chapters....that is not always a good thing. Theta is at more top schools than any other chapters except Pi Phi and Kappa. They ARE very weak in the deep south though but Chi O and Tei Delta are weak in other parts of the country too. Just like DG and other chapters are stronger up north. Theta is very good on East coast which most people consider more important than places like Mississippi and Louisiana.....that is why they are one of the elite three.

PKT are the best of the best anywhere. It's a dropoff after those three. Chi-o isn't quite as elite.

theta isn't top. just because they are top somewhere else doesn't mean they are here! Look at our adpi chapter and the adpi chapter at texas state!

well according to what all I am reading on this site there basically is not a good sorority at A&M at all. Ya'll are the biachyest group of girls in the world. Why would you put your fellow Aggies down like this? BTW I am not in a sorority and did not rush one either ... Thank God. This makes you guys look like a joke... ALL OF YOU!!!!

all sororities are GOOD here...what we are trying to say is don't say yours is better! it's not...we are all the same..there is no "tippy top"...in Aggieland.
