much does it cost to be in a sorority for new members?

I dont really understand rush...what are the chances that the houses you really like will cut you? Does the rushee get to "choose" the houses they come back to (the next day of rush) or are the houses chosen for them?

Recruitment is a very complicated process but basically no one is guaranteed to get a bid from the house they love, in fact many girls won't. To be in a top 5 house you have to be in the top 250 girls. That may not seem like a lot but when you see all the gorgeous girls rushing you may be overwhelmed. Don't worry though you will find your place! Lets say on pref night you have AXO, KAT, and DG. Pretend you preffed them in this order:

1. DG
2. KAT
3. AXO

If you are high enough on their list you will get a bid from DG. If you are not high enough on their list but are high on KATs list you will get a bid from them. If you are low on both you will get a bid from AXO. No matter what if you have at least one house on pref night you WILL get a bid from that house, if you have more you are guaranteed a bid from at least one of them. It is just a mutual selection process.. you cut houses and they rank you.

Top Fraternities and the Sororities they mix with:

KA: Kappa & Pi Phi
Fiji: Tri Delt & Chi O
SAE: Kappa & Tri Delt
Beta: Kappa & Tri Delt

No.. Tri delt doesn't mix with Beta and Kappa doesn't mix with SAE except the ones who just graduated. Its more like this

KA: Kappa, Pi Phi
Fiji: Tri Delt, Chi O, DG
SAE: Zeta, Tri Delt
Beta: Pi Phi, Kappa, Theta (a little)

What about the middle frats, hmm? Who mixes with Delt, Sigma Chi, and Sig Ep?

some people think Delt is top...some think its in the middle. It's a matter of personal opinion I guess..

Delt usually mixes with Zeta, DG and Kappa/Tri-Delt (a little)..

Younger SAEs mix with GDIs (Blinn girls) and Zeta I guess..

KA with Beta and SAE
Fiji with Delt
