sorority comments

Y'a'll are crazy!!! Everyone knows that The "top 6" are kappa ,theta, pi -phi, chi-o, tri-delt. And in texas zeta too, but A&M its dg for 6 not zeta. Zeta is the #6 anywhere in texas anyway. Pi-phi and Kappa messed up this year with quality, classy girls but should get back on track in a couple of years... they have got some weak links in the chapter pulling for some icky girls. Check out reputations!! Embarrassing!!

I will ask again. Who or what system determines the "rankings" Who get to decide?

When you say some sororities did not pick pretty girls, there is a reason. The ones in the sorority do not want anyone prettier than themselves, therefore they start to pick less attractive girls..eventually......!!!!

I think this represents the general view of the student body at ATM. Although every chapter has it's strengths and weaknesses, after 3 years at ATM this appears to be the opinion of most greeks and non greeks that I know.

Most Popular- Tri-Delt, Chi-O, Theta, Zeta, Kappa

Okay(mid level)- Pi Phi, DG, AXO

Bottom(not very popular)- Gamma Phi, DZ, ADPi, KD

I pretty much agree with CampusView below. Pi Phi is probably between mid and bottom tier due to their quota problems this year

these six chapters always have their mixers, date parties, formals, semi-formals, etc. together:

Kappa, Theta, Pi Phi, Tri Delt, Zeta, Chi-O.
they don't really mix with anyone else besides each other. these are the top 6 chapters.

the only people who would pi phi in the top 6 is pi phi! get a life girls!

completely my opinion:

top tier: Chi-O, Kappa, Tri-delt...they compete for the best all around girls & mix with the best frats.
second tier:Zeta, Theta, & DG.....Zeta & Theta have always been strong, but DG is definitely moving up! they put on a great rush & got a great pledge class this year.
3rd tier:Pi Phi, KD, & AXO....good sororities but get the random left overs from the better houses.
4th tier: Gamma Phi, DZ, & ADPi

they sororities that are the biggest jokes are...
1. Pi Phi...Yes it is true!
2. AXO...nice but still a joke.
3. DZ
4. KD
5. Gamma Phi
6. ADPi

So you're saying that HALF the sororities are a joke? Not even close. For your information every sorority except one made quota. Even ADPi was working on getting their numbers up and is NOT a joke. Doubt you're even in a sorority.
