Kappa, Pi Phi, and Tri Delta
are the top chapters who mix with each other and with the top fraternities. Chi Omega and Theta are the top churchy chapters. Very classy good girls, they just don't mix as much with Greek fraternities.

I am embarrassed that this is what yall see. So many girls come into rush completely oblivious to who "tops" are, so they base their facts on who they genuinely love. I think this is such a great way to view recruitment, and I really hope that girls don't waste their time reading these rankings. They are usually all 5's or 1's anyway, so the votes are obviously biased without a legitimate opinion. Just be open to everything :)

last two posts below me. Both are very true. And just to add on, not every girl who goes through rush wants to be a Kappa, Tri Delt, Pi Phi, or Chi O. I know that personally, coming from a Northern greek family, I was told to never rush Tri Delt because of their awful northern and western (pretty much everywhere besides Texas) reputation. Of course, the girls at here at A&M were nice during rush and very different from their national counterparts, but I knew it wasn't for me. I also knew that Kappa and Chi O were also not for me when I was going through rush. I ended up pledging a chapter that I love!! So PNMs, please don't think that KKG, DDD, XO, and Pi Phi are the chapters that you must hold in highest regard. Don't think that those four have to be your top four choices. If you do that you are doing yourself a disservice, especially if you get cut from all of them, or you just end up pledging one of them because someone told you to and not because you love it.

If youre not in the top 6 sororities, then you're a huge GDI. Have fun with your GDI 'sisterhood'.

Top 5: Tri Delta, Pi Beta Phi, Kappa Kappa Gamma, Chi Omega, Kappa Alpha Theta

(drop) Next 2: Zeta Tau Alpha, Delta Gamma

Literally there is no debating this.. as long as you get into one of these seven sororities you will (generally) hang out with the best fraternities and have the most fun

Theta doesn't do anything and the girls are not that great..

It seems like DG will be better than Zeta after this coming rush..

I agree dg and zeta are pretty close right now. zeta is usually in the "big 6" across texas but smu doesn't even have zeta anymore and having to spring rush really hurt them this year. Theta is good but they go after a VERY specific type of girl. I think if you pledge tri delt kappa pi phi or chi o you will have an awesome college experience since they are easily the top houses. Although chi o is like theta in that they go after a very specific type of girl (more churchy) while tri delt kappa and pi phi go after girls who have good grades, (generally) party a lot and are from a good family.

Theta use to be top also, but they have lost their appeal to the mainstream girls rushing. Zeta has always been top middle because they don't care about grades and reputation of the girls
