sorority comments

Did the Kappas ever take down their facebook thread? I never saw it but heard it was absolutely horrible.How can Panhellenic let them get away with it? Are they protected because they're so popular. They have given greeks a horrible name. We are NOT all like that but thanks to them now people have more reasons to hate us!!

I missed recruitment this fall but was told DZ does spring recruitment too. I'm getting conflicting information. Some say they're OK but others say they're a bit smaller and not so good. Need some info on them please.

they say all the Top houses got screwed by panhellenic this year... what does that mean?? Is this their excuse for cutting so many nice girls. kappas are mean and pi phi's had to give snap bids. Are they having continuous open recruitment too?? who would take them?

The best sororities at ATM are Tri-delt, Theta, Chi-O, Zeta, Kappa

Getting into a&m is one thing but being in a sorority is another. Most houses require an SAT score higher than what a&m requires to get in. and you had to be pretty spectacular in high school to even get considered at a lot of these houses. Aggie Greeks are the best of the best at A&M. Anyone who insults greek life is just jealous that they didn?t have what it takes to get in

Do Juniors going through rush at A&M count against quota? Every campus seems to be different. Will all the sororities take Juniors? I heard Juniors have a separate quota... anyone know???

Please pledge as a freshman. If you are not willing to dedicate 4 years, you won't get near as much out of greek life or do any chapter much good. I would love to see panhellenic ban sophmores and juniors from rush. As an upperclassman, I never vote for sophmores or juniors:( You've made your friends.

Mid Tier- Kappa, PiPhi, DG
Bottom Tier- AXO, DZ, KD, Gamma Phi, ADPI

Top - tridelt, theta, zeta, chio
middle - dg, kd, axo, gamma phi
bottom - kappa, pi phi, dz, adpi

after the scandal with kappa and the list and pi phi doing snap bids they are now on the bottom

Hmmm....I agree Pi Phi and Kappa shot themselves in the foot this year. But, even though they both pledged really weak classes, it's only 1/4 of their total membership. So, yes it hurt. But no....you can't drop them all the way down to the bottom. In my opinion, this is where they stand.

Bottom- KD, AXO, DZ
ADPI & Gamma Phi are struggeling so much that I hate to group them at all. Let's give them a couple of years to build their sororities and then we'll discuss.
