really? Because on this campus everyone knows they are a top house...unless you are a DG or Zeta.

i agree.... i didn't start hearing pi phi was top four until i came on here. I never even saw them on campus....

You are obviously from a small town that isn't very greek oriented. Every girl from a good texas family knows that the top nationally are Kappa, Pi Phi and Chi O. I came in knowing that those plus Tri Delt and Theta were top houses, no questions asked. Nice try though DG.

I'm from a good Texas family, and I know that Pi Phi is good nationally and especially here in the south. However it is a known fact that the A&M Pi Phi chapter is lacking the same prestige most other university's Pi Pi's have

I agree they are not the top chapter. However, to say they aren't one if the top ones(I personally say behind KKG and Tri Delt but above Chi o, Theta) is just trying to manipulate this site. Hard to argue with who they mix with, national name, good grades, and well liked during rush.....

after overlooking a few pages back on these posts, the general consensus seems to be that kappa, chi-o, and tri-delt are the ones noted most in the "top tier." I myself couldn't agree more with this....... at the moment. But that doesn't mean other sororities aren't getting stronger!

I actually think it looks like:

Kappa and Tri Delt
Pi Phi and Chi O

Theta and Zeta

when i think "great sorority" pi phi and theta DO NOT come to mind.

No matter what anyone says, the top five are kappa, tridelt, pi phi, chi-o, and theta. Who you think is the best within these five depends on who you ask and what you want in a sorority. But, these are the best five on campus and after these five it's a big drop.
