I would say a few of these houses are where they belong. but a few could use some switching around.

Rankings are totally wrong!! Zeta #1? DG number 3? Pi Phi, Chi O, and Tri Delt in the bottom half??? SO wrong it is a joke.

Hello, allow me to shed some light on this topic: First of all there are two main reasons a chapter spring rushes, need or want. Need to sprg rush to survive or Want to fill an opening.Zeta is like Google or Exxon, they do not need to sprg rush to survive,Zta will not fail if they dont sprg rush. If Google has an opening they might hire for it likewise Zta will take on a few girls if they can.Spring rush is not always a bad thing, I would know I am in a chapter that used to sprg rush out of need but not anymore! But we do love our spring girls, they are so amazing and thats why we love to spring rush.

Comparing zeta to google shows how stupid you actually are. Their grades are not even good enough to get a majority of their house a good job. Also, 5 girls living in house QUIT. Explain that one. You are for sure bottom middle

I'm an Aggie Greek and this website is absolutely pathetic. I will happily admit that I am in a so called "middle tier" sorority and it's where I fit, I'm happy and I still think rushing was one of my best decisions. My best friend is in one of the so called "top tier" sororities and hates it, only staying because of alumni relations, etc but constantly wishing she hadn't been so superficial during rush and had looked into some of the other houses a lot more. Every chapter fits the girls in that chapter, and greek life as a whole should be able to come together on the common fact that we are all greek, but we are aggies first. Chapters rise, chapters fall, girls bring new reputations with them and girls can be not like the reputation of that chapter at all so maybe everyone on here should try being less high school and more grown up.

okay there are TWO reasons why ANY chapter does spring rush. Reason #1, the chapter is not at capacity and needs new members to get closer to total. EXAMPLE A INCLUDES DZ AXO and KD in spring 2010-- chapter is USUALLY full however people GRADUATE in December, therefore there are open spots and they offer invites to PNMs. EXAMPLE B GPHI-- the NEWEST chapter on campus; they havent even been on campus 8 years and they are almost at capacity. You are usually expected to get to capacity 12 years after a chapter is started. Ladies lay off their back they are doing awesome. EXAMPLE C-- ADPI, they are one of the OLDEST chapters on campus. Although their numbers are nothing to brag about, they still have sisterhood. They do spring rush to bring the chapter up where it should be.


OBVIOUSLY ZTA had graduating seniors and wanted to invite new sisters. GET OVER IT! Who cares? Its people who hate on simple things like "spring rush" who give greeks a bad name.

The top five houses on this campus of pi phi, kappa, theta, tridelt, and chi-o. There is no set ranking of those five. Who you think the best is depends on what you are looking for in a sorority. After these five, its a drop but they are all still great houses!
