fraternity rush

So I have decided that I want to go to ATM next year and plan to rush a fraternity. Can anyone tell me how I do that? How do I hear about parties and meet guys? My high school sends pretty many kids to ATM, but I am not sure if they pledge fraternities or not. I know at UT they have round up and stuff that seniors go to.....does ATM have anything like that? When does rush start? Is it basically decided and over before school starts?

You have to formally register on the IFC website but for 2 weeks you'll go to rush parties at the fraternities and then it's "formal" for one week and then bid day

If you meet some Rush chairs before hand and start making a name for yourself you can be invited to chilifest but be careful that place is MIP heaven

Does it matter which dorm I decide to live In? Thinking Hullabaloo because it is actually on campus and looks nice, but willing to stay somewhere else if it would be easier to do pledge/rush stuff.
