by: AllysonHow time consuming is pledging/new member education? I really want to join a sorority but I'm worried about the time commitment and not being able to join other organizations.

It's not very time consuming, most girls do a lot of other things. You have 1 extra meeting a week for the first half of your first semester and its usually quick and just general info you need to know about the sorority. There's a lot of opportunity to get involved but if you find a good balance you can be in anything else you want!
