do guys rush

I am planning to come to A&M in the fall. I have a deposit down at Calloway and Hullabaloo. If I want to join a fraternity, when should I plan to be around and what do guys do to rush? I know guys in all of the top fraternities, but probably not well enough to just call them for an invite. I think they will want to rush me, but how does the whole process get started?
