Most would probably take you...but serious question...why?

The Corps turds talk the most crap about Greek life at Texas A&M....I bet you're little commanders would even try to haze you for even asking to go greek.

I'll be at A&M in the spring, and am want to do the corps because I want to serve in the Navy, but also want to join a fraternity too. I value the tradition of the Corps, but can't imagine myself not in a fraternity...

I don't think your commander will let you....I have never known a guy in the corps to join a fraternity. I have heard of an older corps guy who joined KA his senior year...seniors in the corps have more power and freedom. But if you wait till your junior or senior year to join a fraternity you really miss out on a lot of the experience. For whatever reason the Corps at A&M is very very anti-Frat.....its sort of their thing to say "We hate Frats". I would say go a head and do both but I imagine the corps leaders will come down on you for trying.

There are a few corps guys in multiple different fraternities, but usually the smaller ones. Generally speaking the corps seems pretty anti-Greek and not many of them rush. And the corps kinda has a bad reputation with the general student body (the ones who aren't over the top red ass) so it can potentially damage your chances of getting in, especially if your rushing a top fraternity
