help!

I rushed as a junior this past fall, I can personally say it was not easy but totally worth it. You will have to be prepared to face the fact that you will be cut by many of the houses based solely on the fact that you are a junior so even if they like you they might not be able to take you because they already have the max amount of juniors or nationals won't let them or something like that so be prepared for that disappointment. It will be a lot harder for you but it's not impossible just make sure you get plenty of rec letters like register with your local Panhellenic to get reference letters for all the chapters here at tamu but remember they do help you a lot but they can't garantee you getting in to a certain house no matter how good the rec letter is but still they do make a difference so GET THEM! Also have a good gpa and be yourself remember being in a sorority is not just for four or even two years it's for life and so don't worry about the houses that cut you because of your age and focus on the ones that want you and that you can form lifetime relationships with because that's what you're gonna get! I love my sorority even though it wasn't my first choice and I had to really adjust my expectations going through recruitment in the beginning but now I honestly couldn't be happier! Trust me being greek is better than not so definitely go for it!

The previous post right! Go for it! Yes you may get dropped from some because you're a junior but focus on the ones that call you back! I'm a sophomore/junior and I dropped because I didn't get the one I wanted and now I regret it so badly because now I realize the house that did want me was the house for me....and now I have to wait to see "IF" they will be doing spring Rush. So yes GO GREEK!
