I want through Rush this fall but had to drop out due to financial reasons.
I heard that it is good to make connections before rushing again. How should I approach them without being creepy or them thinking I just want to talk to them because they are in a sorority.

I would just talk to girls in class that are wearing letters and build a relationship with them. You can study together and get to know her better. Then when it comes up (or in the spring) tell her that you're very interested in rushing in the fall! If you really spent time with her and she feels like you'd fit in well with her sisterhood she'll try to watch out for you during rush. Please know that some of the cuts are based on things that maybe out if your control like grades!

I should have clarified. I recently got a job and by the time spring comes I will have money saved up so I will be able to afford it.
