realistic fraternity rankings

by: Reality

There's a few fraternities that are generally more respected and popular than the others, and that's reality. It doesn't mean non-top chapters are bad in any way, they're just not as recognized. The top is really split into two different categories. There is no real order within the categories and neither category is really better than the other, its all personal preference. But these are the generally accepted "top" fraternities.

Category 1: SEC style fraternities. This is the Sigma Triad (Sigma Alpha Epsilon, Sigma Phi Epsilon, Sigma Chi) They have 20+ bedroom houses, large properties, throw big parties, are popular with the community as a whole, & act/dress more traditionally Greek. They seem to bid based more on personality/merit than background.

Category 2: KA, Fiji, & Beta. These are the more "upper-class circles". They tend to have smaller, more exclusive parties, hang out with smaller social circles, and act/dress more country. They all follow a similar model of having a small house/barn on an open field instead of having Greek mansions. They tend to bid more on wealth/background/zip-code

Then there's Delt, which fits into the description of Category 1 but because of probation they don't really belong on top with the rest. Upper middle for now, will likely recover though.

Then you have Pike/SigNu/KSig who are still solid chapters with great guys, they're just not considered major players on the field

Aside from the fact that im pretty sure Sigma Chi took the place of Delt just so the term "Sigma Triad" could be used, this is pretty realistic

Neither Beta nor Sigma Chi are top tier. And neither are above Delt
