Rush was nice because so many of the houses are great. Even the few I didn't feel were good matches for me were beautiful and filled with really nice girls. The efforts the houses put into rush were very impressive in each one. Honestly, no matter where people ended up, I think they will be very happy.
I feel super lucky as I pref'd Zeta, Kappa and DG. Funny that although nobody seems to rank DG first, that was my first choice and I got it! I know 2 other girls in my pledge class who had choices "higher" up and also choose DG. I think the point is, maybe girls are going where they make the best connections and not so worried about the "best"name. Anyway, a lot of that is because there is a lot of harmony in the greek system here. Not at all what my friends at other schools talk about where everyone is concerned about where your house ranks. I am so glad I am an Aggie and also a DG. The girls so welcoming and fun to be around.
