prices?
by: DistantPNMHi, i'm going to be a senior in high school this year and i'm really interested in rushing. My parents know I want to rush and they don't have a problem with it, but were all just wondering if I do end up getting a bid how much it would cost me my first year (first and second semester combined.) If it works out and I get a bid, Imight be splitting the cost halfway and I already have a retail job and am constantly babysitting so I just want to know how much I should save and expect so spend! I know all sororities are different but if you could give me an average or a min-max to expect that would be great!! Thank you!

The cost varies for each sorority and this year A&M put the financial obligations for each chapter in the recruitment guide online. New member dues (first year) are higher than being an active member. And when you see the in house cost, that means you're living at the sorority so that includes room and board. Look at A&M's Panhellenic website and the 2014 guide. It has lots of great information about the process as well as the financial obligations. Hope this helps. Go Greek! It'll be the best decision you'll ever make. My sisters are truly my family now and it makes a huge school feel smaller.
