Why did ZTA do spring rush???

Because COBing or not does not determine house status. Everyone COBs at some point in time. People drop,seniors graduate, people study abroad. Having open space does not mean you're a "lower tier" house.

I heard they had several girls graduate early in December and wanted to fill those spots with freshmen and sophomores. Keep chapter number at capacity and dues coming in.

Just cuz they COB doesn’t mean it’s open for everyone. Some houses do spring rush but it’s basically invite only. May not be advertised and they already know who they want so it’s not an open event where you can just go check it out.

Im pretty sure A&M upped their Panhellenic total for sororities which meant almost every house had to do COB. I also think they’re trying to reduce the stigma surrounding COB.
