Opinion on STUMO?

I’m a freshman thinking about getting involved with stumo, and I wanted to know more about it. Is it worth getting involved in? How are the people in it? Is it cult-y?

Stumo is an org for people wanting to grow in their faith, so if that is something you are looking to do in college then you should try it out. It’s pretty heavily Greek life

Stumo is training people for careers in ministry. They encourage dating only people with similar goals. It’s about more than just growing in your faith as a layperson.

Safer to stick with established denominations like Baptist, Catholic, Episcopal, Methodist, etc. that have stood the test of time. These independent groups and pop up churches often don’t have much oversight.

Cult. If you want to lose all personality you have join they take your money and brainwash you. Unfortunately some of my friends have fallen to stumo
