I hope you get cut by all 12 houses. Actually, save your registration fee and just don't even rush. That mentality will get you nowhere.

Rush and see what you think. I know you don't believe it, but you really will be able to tell which houses you will fit in. I probably would have been happy in any house, but once I was down to my top five, it got really tough. Loved them all! Lots of different type of girls in all of the houses....you will like some and not like some everywhere. Also, during rush, being really wanted by a house is a very nice feeling. That being said, do not pledge a house because your cousin wants you to. I LOVE and have so much fun with my Dz friend, but we were looking for very different things in a sorority when we pledged. Just rush.....it will work out!

In the South, we pay a lot of attention to family. I think it's cool you cousin wants you as a sister. I think you'll find girls you love in any house you're in. The houses are not really that different. So go for it. Ranking doesn't matter except on this stupid website.

Delta Zeta is an awesome chapter, all the girls are very nice and they are really involved around campus. But definitely go in with an open mind because the other sororities are great too! And DZ is not "ranked" low at all that is just people on this website creating drama don't listen to this website instead wait till rush. All the chapters at tamu are amazing and you will find your place whether it be DZ or not
