What can I do plz help

by:

So I am a legacy of a sorority, so in my family it’s this sorority or nothing, and I just got dropped from them. I still want to rush them is there any option for me? I heard abt COB but I don’t really understand that. I also have heard of some girls telling me to rush as a sophomore. What do you guys recommend I just need some advice. Thank you!!

If you are a legacy and you got dropped before pref, then there probably isn’t much you can do. But did you have houses today you liked? Families who want their daughter to be in only their house are dumb, sorry. Every chapter all over the place is different and a chapter at the same university changes all the time as new pledge classes come through. If you got some houses back that you like, then I would say see it through.

What if I don’t get back any houses that I like, do you recommend just re rushing next year?

Did they know you were a legacy? If so, it might be that once dropped, you’ll continue to be dropped. You can always withdraw and stay open for COB to another house, but I would at least see who you get back today.

This is YOUR rush, YOUR sorority, YOUR time. Legacy doesn't mean a thing anymore, there are too many legacies in this generation so accomodate them all. If you still have houses you like then take off your blinders and keep going. Your family will come around if you show you are happy and excited about where you land. They had their own college life, now you get to have yours.
