Why was Theta on probation?
by: pnm questionI was looking at the OFSL website and Theta is listed as a chapter with sanctions (ended last month). What did they get in trouble for? I was interested in Theta but not anymore if they’re know for getting in trouble. Please help if you know anything!

Theta is a great chapter! So many super sweet girls in there and always always has been very solid and steady chapter, Christian camp girl kinda vibes. Pretty sure they had some kinda random hazing allegations from a new mem but it wasn’t anything very serious or had proof bc it didn’t get very far the way it has historically with other chapters.

Way to minimize your hazing probation theta!! Just call it like it is… we hazed so we are on probation. Ok

Yes, the sanctions were:
Primary Sanction – Organizational Conduct Probation
Secondary Sanction – Risk or Hazing Education Workshop
Secondary Sanction – OFSL Consultation
Secondary Sanction – Alcohol Education Workshop
Definitely seems like a hazing incident with alcohol involved

Tri Delt hazed pledges with alcohol several years ago also.
It’s not who does it, some members in every group drink on bid day, but only KAT, Kappa, Tri Delt member was dumb enough to record it on their social media, and turned over to Greek Affairs.
