Bumping this!! Girls- find your people! Don’t listen to ranks, they’re often not true and come from biased people.

For any girl going through recruitment- trust the process. When I went through it I didn’t get the house I wanted and felt really discouraged, but I took the chance of trying out the house that chose me and it has been the best experience I could have asked for. I have met girls that are really similar to me and really different but I’ve been able to call just about all of them (everybody I’ve had the chance of meeting at least!) my friend. Geek life is a great experience to figure out your new life and make some amazing friends; enjoy it while it lasts and don’t listen to anything you read from an anonymous nobody.

This is your journey. Go find your sisters! All of the sororities have formals, leadership opportunities, philanthropies, big & little, and a place to call home away from home. Guess what, your closest friends might be in your sorority or maybe they chose another one. It’s all worth it and it’s memorable. Live your dream. Meet your people to make college memories with and be genuine in the process. Some people on here put other sororities down. They obviously have personal issues that don’t truly reflect the Pan Love of A&M sorority life. There’s plenty of classy ladies on sorority row…and they’re in all the sorority houses…not just a few.
