Rushing as a junior
by: juniorsI’ve gotten so many mixed responses about this, what is it like to rush as a junior and will I end up just dropping and doing it for no reason?

Guys, yes, I've personally seen plenty of older guys rush through pledgeship and enjoy their time in the fraternity. It happens all the time. If you're cool, you'll get a bid.
I cant say much abt sororities but ik its a rarity for girls to get bids to decent srats if they're older

being honest some sororities u are 99% not going get because you are a junior. ddd, xo, zta, maybeee kappa to name a few don’t take very many upperclassmen if any.
of course if you know girls in certain chapters it may help, but certainly don’t pull all of your eggs in one basket and just keep an open mind.

i think those are the only ones who don’t care abt hours but a lot of houses basically know who they want before formal recruitment

no, there’s a separate pool for non-freshman. upperclassmen compete against each other rather than against freshman. it is worth it to rush as a junior
